About Us

Ed’s Woodshop appeared in the summer of 2020 from the ashes of the Rock & Roll industry.

In my 37 years of travel I’ve been Lucky to have seen some amazing crafts and art’s and met the beautiful people who create the beautiful pieces.

It’s been for a long time once my mag lite and gaffa tape had been hung up for the last time that I’d be able to take my hobby further and create myself .

The things I love to make are as natural as I can make them,I like to use natural finishes like wax and mineral oils . Most of my wood is collected local to me in southern Cornwall,my more exotic’s are sorced from trusted sellers . I love to also upcycle and refurbish anything wood. Also with my years on the road working as a guitar tech my love of guitars will never die and I still love to work on them.

Now, over the last few years I’ve spent a lot of time walking around the woods and lanes of Cornwall picking up wood as i go,,,, There’s nothing better than finding a piece of wood hiding at the back of my store and instantly being taken back to the walk of the time . I do hope you enjoy looking at the wood I love to turn.
